Changelog

Follow new updates and improvements to Orca.

Quicker searches in your order and transfer lists

Searching and filtering the Orders and Transfers lists is now quicker, so you get to the order or transfer you're after without waiting. Orca waits until you pause typing before it searches, so results arrive in one go instead of lagging a step behind you. Lists now show the range you're viewing, like "1–20", instead of a total count, and you page through them as before.

"Always the store" now always means the store

When a store sale ships to the customer under an "Always the store" rule, Orca now keeps the order with that store, even if the store turns an item away. Instead of quietly sending it from another location, Orca holds the order at the store so your team decides what happens next. To release it, change the order's location from the order page. "Prefer the store" rules work as before.

Set up staff access before you import them

Bringing staff over from Shopify no longer means opening each person afterwards to restrict them. Choose their store and permissions first, then pick who to import, and they get exactly what you chose.

Staff who only use POS now start with only the permissions POS uses, and the staff page has been redesigned to look like Shopify's own.
